In breve. Tipty non raccoglie i tuoi dati. Non c'è un account da creare, non c'è un nostro server che li riceve, e niente di quello che fai lascia la tua rete di casa.

I tuoi messaggi, i contatti e i file restano sul telefono. Il computer li vede collegandosi direttamente al telefono, sulla stessa rete Wi-Fi.

Quali dati raccogliamo

Nessuno. Tipty non raccoglie, non trasmette e non conserva dati personali su sistemi nostri o di terzi. Non usiamo strumenti di analisi, pubblicità o tracciamento. Non esiste alcun account Tipty.

Questo non è un impegno che vi chiediamo di credere sulla parola: Tipty non ha un server a cui inviare qualcosa. Il "server" di Tipty è il vostro telefono, e parla soltanto con i computer della vostra rete locale.

I permessi che Tipty chiede, e perché

Tipty chiede alcuni permessi delicati. Servono tutti a funzioni che l'app svolge sul dispositivo: i dati a cui accede non vengono copiati, inviati o conservati altrove.

SMS `SEND_SMS` `READ_SMS`	Inviare i messaggi dalla tua SIM, come faresti dall'app Messaggi, e mostrarti le conversazioni sullo schermo del computer. I messaggi non passano da nessun server: li spedisce il tuo operatore telefonico.
Contatti `READ_CONTACTS`	Mostrare i nomi al posto dei numeri e permetterti di scegliere i destinatari dalla rubrica. La rubrica viene letta sul telefono e non viene copiata da nessuna parte.
File `MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`	Il gestore file: sfogliare, aprire, spostare e trasferire i tuoi file fra telefono e computer. I file restano dove sono; il computer li riceve solo quando sei tu a chiederlo.
Fotocamera e microfono `CAMERA` `RECORD_AUDIO`	Due cose. La BabyCam: guardare e ascoltare da un altro dispositivo della tua rete; il flusso è diretto fra i tuoi dispositivi, non viene registrato né inviato altrove. E gli scatti e i messaggi vocali della chat: quelli sì vengono salvati, come file, nell'area di scambio sul tuo telefono — è il loro scopo. Restano lì finché non li togli tu, e non escono dalla tua rete.
Posizione `ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION` `ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`	Solo per la funzione Emergenza (SOS): includere la tua posizione nel messaggio che tu decidi di inviare. La posizione non viene letta in altri momenti, non viene conservata e non viene inviata a noi.
Chiamate in arrivo `BIND_SCREENING_SERVICE`	Il blocco chiamate: se lo attivi, Tipty confronta il numero di chi chiama con le regole che hai impostato tu e rifiuta in silenzio quelle che vi rientrano. Il confronto avviene sul telefono, in quell'istante. Tipty conserva sul telefono un registro delle sole chiamate bloccate (numero, regola applicata, data), perché tu possa controllare cosa è stato fermato: puoi svuotarlo quando vuoi, e sparisce disinstallando l'app. Nulla di tutto questo viene inviato altrove.
Notifiche `POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Avvisarti quando un invio si ferma, riprende o si conclude.
Rete locale `INTERNET` `ACCESS_WIFI_STATE` `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` `CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE`	Far funzionare il collegamento con il computer sulla tua Wi-Fi e farsi trovare in rete. Nonostante il nome, il permesso "Internet" serve qui a comunicare dentro la tua rete.
Funzionamento continuo `FOREGROUND_SERVICE` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CAMERA` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE` `WAKE_LOCK` `RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED` `SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` `REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS`	Tenere attivo il collegamento mentre lo usi, riprendere gli invii interrotti e far partire i messaggi programmati all'ora giusta. L'esenzione dal risparmio energetico è facoltativa: senza, Android può sospendere l'app e il collegamento cade.

Le email passano dal tuo provider

Una precisazione doverosa, perché la riga sugli SMS potrebbe far pensare che non esca mai nulla. Tipty prepara l'email — destinatari, oggetto, testo, allegati — e la consegna all'app di posta che scegli tu. Da lì parte con il tuo account, attraverso il tuo provider (Gmail, Outlook, Libero…), che la tratta secondo le proprie regole. Tipty non spedisce email e non ne conserva copia su sistemi nostri: non ne abbiamo.

Sul telefono restano la voce nello Storico (a chi, quando, il testo) e, per 90 giorni, l'eventuale allegato che hai spedito: servono a te per sapere cosa hai mandato, e non lasciano il telefono.

Il registro diagnostico

Tipty tiene un registro tecnico del proprio funzionamento, salvato solo sul telefono. Contiene esclusivamente informazioni sull'app: uso della memoria, tempi di risposta, avvii del server, quale schermata è stata aperta, eventuali errori.

Non contiene i tuoi dati: nessun numero di telefono, nessun indirizzo email, nessun contenuto dei messaggi, nessun nome di contatto. Se un messaggio d'errore contenesse per caso un numero o un indirizzo, questo viene sostituito automaticamente prima di essere scritto.

Il registro non viene mai inviato da solo. Puoi scaricarlo e, se lo desideri, inviarcelo tu per segnalare un malfunzionamento. In quel caso lo usiamo solo per capire il problema e lo cancelliamo una volta risolto. Puoi cancellarlo dal telefono quando vuoi.

Collegamento da fuori casa

Oggi Tipty funziona solo sulla tua rete locale. In futuro potremo offrire la possibilità di raggiungere il telefono anche da fuori casa: in quel caso il traffico passerà attraverso un nostro sistema di inoltro, cifrato da un capo all'altro e non leggibile da noi, che lo inoltra senza conservarlo. Sarà una funzione facoltativa, da attivare esplicitamente, e questa informativa verrà aggiornata prima che sia disponibile.

Bambini

Tipty non è pensata per i minori di 13 anni e non raccoglie dati da nessuno, minori compresi.

I tuoi diritti

Il Regolamento europeo (GDPR) ti riconosce il diritto di accedere ai tuoi dati personali, correggerli, cancellarli e opporti al loro trattamento. Nel caso di Tipty questi diritti sono soddisfatti alla radice: non deteniamo alcun tuo dato, quindi non c'è nulla che possiamo consegnare, correggere o cancellare. I dati sono sul tuo telefono e sotto il tuo controllo: disinstallando l'app se ne vanno con lei.

Privacy Policy

In short. Tipty does not collect your data. There is no account to create, no server of ours receiving anything, and nothing you do leaves your home network.

Your messages, contacts and files stay on your phone. Your computer sees them by connecting directly to the phone, on the same Wi-Fi network.

Who publishes this app

Tipty is published by Radu Gabriel Tanasescu. For any question about this policy: support@tipty.app.

What data we collect

None. Tipty does not collect, transmit or store personal data on our systems or anyone else's. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking. There is no Tipty account.

This is not something you have to take on trust: Tipty has no server to send anything to. Tipty's "server" is your phone, and it only talks to computers on your local network.

The permissions Tipty asks for, and why

Tipty requests some sensitive permissions. They all serve features the app performs on your device: the data they access is never copied, sent or stored elsewhere.

SMS `SEND_SMS` `READ_SMS`	Sending messages from your own SIM, as you would from the Messages app, and showing your conversations on your computer screen. Messages never pass through any server: your mobile operator sends them.
Contacts `READ_CONTACTS`	Showing names instead of numbers and letting you pick recipients from your address book. Contacts are read on the phone and never copied anywhere.
Files `MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`	The file manager: browsing, opening, moving and transferring your files between phone and computer. Files stay where they are; your computer receives them only when you ask.
Camera and microphone `CAMERA` `RECORD_AUDIO`	Two things. The BabyCam: watching and listening from another device on your network; the stream goes straight between your devices, it is not recorded or sent anywhere. And photos and voice messages in the chat: those are saved, as files, in the exchange area on your phone — that is what they are for. They stay there until you remove them, and they never leave your network.
Location `ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION` `ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`	Only for the Emergency (SOS) feature: including your position in a message you choose to send. Location is not read at other times, not stored, and never sent to us.
Incoming calls `BIND_SCREENING_SERVICE`	Call blocking: if you enable it, Tipty compares the caller's number against the rules you set and silently rejects those that match. The comparison happens on the phone, at that moment. Tipty keeps a log on the phone of blocked calls only (number, rule applied, date) so you can check what was stopped: you can clear it whenever you like, and it goes away if you uninstall the app. None of this is sent anywhere.
Notifications `POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Telling you when a send stops, resumes or completes.
Local network `INTERNET` `ACCESS_WIFI_STATE` `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` `CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE`	Making the connection to your computer work over your Wi-Fi and letting it be found on the network. Despite its name, the "Internet" permission is used here to communicate within your own network.
Continuous operation `FOREGROUND_SERVICE` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CAMERA` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE` `WAKE_LOCK` `RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED` `SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` `REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS`	Keeping the connection alive while you use it, resuming interrupted sends, and sending scheduled messages at the right time. Exemption from battery optimisation is optional: without it, Android may suspend the app and the connection drops.

Email goes through your provider

One clarification we owe you, because the line about SMS might suggest that nothing ever leaves your phone. Tipty prepares the email — recipients, subject, text, attachments — and hands it to the mail app you choose. From there it is sent with your own account, through your provider (Gmail, Outlook, and so on), which handles it under its own rules. Tipty does not send email and keeps no copy on any system of ours: we don't have one.

What stays on your phone is the history entry (who, when, the text) and, for 90 days, the attachment you sent: they are there so you can check what you sent, and they never leave the phone.

The diagnostic log

Tipty keeps a technical log of its own operation, stored on your phone only. It contains information about the app alone: memory usage, response times, server starts, which screen was opened, and any errors.

It does not contain your data: no phone numbers, no email addresses, no message content, no contact names. Should an error message happen to contain a number or an address, it is automatically replaced before being written.

The log is never sent on its own. You can download it and, if you wish, send it to us to report a malfunction. In that case we use it only to understand the problem and delete it once resolved. You can erase it from your phone at any time.

Connecting from outside your home

Today Tipty works only on your local network. In future we may offer a way to reach your phone from elsewhere: in that case traffic would pass through a relay of ours, encrypted end to end and unreadable by us, which forwards without storing it. It will be optional, explicitly enabled by you, and this policy will be updated before it becomes available.

Children

Tipty is not intended for children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone, children included.

Your rights

The European regulation (GDPR) grants you the right to access your personal data, correct it, erase it and object to its processing. With Tipty these rights are satisfied at the root: we hold none of your data, so there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or erase. Your data is on your phone and under your control: uninstall the app and it goes with it.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Previous versions remain available on request.
